“In a new study, one researcher dipped a glove in e. coli, then gave different greetings to a fellow researcher… a hand shake; a high five; and a fist bump. The handshake transferred nearly twice as many bacteria as the high five, but it spread more than ten times more bacteria than the fist bump.”

The study was conducted by researchers at Aberystwyth University.
